Projects range from new construction, additions, remodeling for both residential & commercial as well as restorations. Several of American Built's past remodeling projects include homes in the historic German Village area in Columbus , Ohio - one home was even featured in the German Village Show of Homes. About the Owner
Roy Wahlenmaier has a proven track record as a dependable, hard working self-starter with a broad 30 year background in all facets of construction. In 1978, Roy started and managed the first solely commercial glazing company in central Ohio. Roy oversaw the construction of, at that time, the largest, free standing curtain wall structure in the world. This glazing company later expanded into American Built Construction. He has managed the construction of $3 million hotels, retail mall stores, over 400 newly constructed and remodeled fast food restaurants, for major chains and numerous residential projects from a simple home remodel to complete new builds.
